ramification

my works "ramification"

I made it last summer.

The title of a work is "ramification" ;

a branch,a blood vessel,a coral,an antler.....

There motif are fascinating form for me.

I began to feel space and a life force,because they have a permanent repetition.

So,I made it.

This is a double weave; a reversible cloth.

2007年夏頃に製作。

タイトルは”枝分かれ”。

枝とか血管とか珊瑚とか角とか。

これらのモノのカタチに凄く魅力を感じ、その共通点である”枝分かれ”を

モチーフにした。

枝分かれしているものを見ていると、そこに空間や生命力を感じる。

おそらく永遠に繰り返されているカタチのためである。

そんなことを感じ、それを表現したくてこの作品を作りました。
